Well I retook the nav exam. Everything went as smoothly as I had planned. Not only did I not make any mistakes reading the questions, I paced myself well enough so that I had 10 minutes spare to go over some of the sticky answers. I felt so good afterwards I booked myself in for an hours flight later in the month because there is a 3 week waiting list presently. If I fail this one then I'll be really distraught.
My goal of getting my PPL before Christmas seems to be slipping away as getting lesson time with the two senior instructors (who do all the pre-checkride revision) is very hard to come by.
But the Nav exam is the big hurdle and must be jumped before I can even think about the checkride, so fingers crossed!
