And not a moment too soon

I went up in a Tecnam P2008 to get current again.  When I opened the door I was greeted with a placard on the instrument panel stating that Vfe had been changed from 68 knots to 80 knots.  You may remember I made comments about this when I first flew one a couple of years ago.  According to Instructor Andrew, CFI Roger recommended to Tecnam that they make the necessary changes to the Flight Manual to increase the maximum flap extension speed, and after looking into it in depth, they did!

This certainly makes circuit flying a far more relaxed affair than previously when your initial approach speed was just under Vfe, and I mean like 2-4 knots under.  And it should also make transition from the 172 easier too.  All in all a good thing, well done Tecnam.
